Legal regulation of the tourism guide profession in Libya

Abstract

This research is to cast light on the studies of legislative development and legal regulations of tour guide profession in Libya within passing law no. (1) Of 1959 and regulating the performance of tourism until passed the law No (7) of 2004. Regulating the performance of tourism and definitions of tour guids and conditions which concerning on this profession and legislative development in Libya. Second part of this research focused on some problems of tour guides and how to find legal solutions also concentrated on descriptive comparison with Egyptian law. Some cases of limitations concluded in the legislations concerning tour guides.this research also aims to raise the duties of tour guides and their legal rights through re-shedding light on regulating of this profession in Libya.
