This morning, Sunday, June 9, 2024, the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences organized a celebration at the Faculty of Agriculture auditorium to mark World Environment Day under the motto: “Our Land, Our Future” – Land Restoration, Stopping Desertification, and Building Drought Resilience Capacity.”
Attending the event were Dr. Youssef Al-Ghazal, Dean of the Faculty of Resources, along with several university faculty members and individuals interested in this aspect.
Speeches were delivered by Dr. Al-Ghazal and faculty members, and the day included scientific lectures and cultural activities highlighting the importance of the environment and its role in serving society. The celebration of World Environment Day is part of the ongoing activities of the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences at Omar Al-Mukhtar University.
The celebration ended with honoring participants and concerned parties by the event organizing committee.
