Biological, Occupational, and Environmental Safety Unit
The Biological, Occupational, and Environmental Safety Unit is responsible for implementing procedures to protect university students, faculty members, and employees from hazards that may result from the work they undertake within university facilities and other places that may lead to them contracting diseases or sustaining accidents, in order to prevent or reduce their occurrence and control them as much as possible if they do occur. This objective is realized by implementing a comprehensive crisis and incident management system and protecting university members, property, equipment, devices, and the work environment within the University’s buildings, laboratories, and facilities by applying a set of preventive measures to ensure a safe work environment free of occupational hazards and diseases for workers and visitors alike.
