This morning, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM, the Faculty of Arts at Omar Al-Mukhtar University organized a Day of Tribute in honor of the departed members of the faculty, held at the Faculty of Pharmacy auditorium. The memorial ceremony commenced with an opening speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Dr. Said Shnani, followed by several speeches from department heads at the faculty:
– Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Jadallah, Head of the Arabic Language Department.
– Dr. Abdelbasset Omar Amraief, Head of the Sociology Department.
– Dr. Yemeni Qatoun, Head of the Psychology Department.
– Dr. Oleyh Ibrahim Hussein, Head of the History Department.
– Dr. Awad Abdulwahid Awad, Head of the Geography Department.
– Dr. Omar Ali Younes, Head of the Philosophy Department.
– Dr. Muftah Osman Abdelraba, Head of the Planning and Educational Management Department.
At the culmination of the day, Dr. Ali Omar Boultiya delivered a speech on behalf of the families of those being remembered. Finally, the families of the departed members of the Faculty of Arts at Omar Al-Mukhtar University were honored on this Day of Tribute.
