In the presence of Dr. Youssef Faraj Al-Ghulaz, the Dean of the Faculty, and Dr, Director of the Graduate Studies Office, alongside academic faculty members supervising doctoral students and the students themselves, Dr. Al-Ghulaz welcomed the attendees. He then gave a comprehensive presentation introducing the PhD program at the Faculty, starting from the student application process to the final thesis defense stage.
Following this, interviews were conducted, and research proposals were presented, evaluated, and discussed for admission into the PhD program. The committee for discussion, supervision, and evaluation subsequently provided scientific feedback emphasizing the necessity for scientific authenticity, the researchers’ independence in their scientific opinions and ideas, and their ability to lead the research and draw conclusions. The committee also stressed the importance of attaining new results and scientific contributions through proposals related to doctoral dissertations in various fields.
