Omar Al-Mukhtar University at the First International Conference on People with Disabilities

 

Omar Al-Mukhtar University participated in the First International Scientific Conference on Higher Education for People with Disabilities: Reality and Aspirations, organized by the University of Benghazi. Ms. Naglaa Faraj Abreek, the Director of the Special Needs Education and Integration Office at the university, presented a study titled: “The Reality of Special Needs Groups in Libyan Universities (Challenges/Drawbacks/Benefits) with Omar Al-Mukhtar University as a Model”. Additionally, Dr. Nasreen Saad Al-Maqrahi, faculty member in the Department of Media, presented a study titled: “The Role of Modern Media in Addressing Higher Education Issues for People with Disabilities (Social Media as a Model)”.
