Based on the developmental vision that Omar Al-Mukhtar University is earnestly striving towards, the regular meeting of the Committee for Academic Development, Scientific Research, and Administrative Work at the University was held this morning, Tuesday, June 4, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Abdalmatlub. A. Bofrowa the University President, and attended by the University’s Vice-Provost for Academic Affairs, the General Secretary, the Registrar, the Director of the Office for Faculty Affairs, the Director of the Quality Assurance Office, Dr. Ali Bataw, and Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Bukhari. The meeting discussed several topics, the most important of which were: establishing a specific mechanism to monitor the implementation of the University’s strategic plan, a mechanism to monitor the implementation of the code of ethics in scientific research at the University, as well as discussing a clear and specific mechanism for reviewing citations in promotion research. The meeting concluded with a discussion on fulfilling the quality requirements for programmatic and institutional accreditation of the University Faculties.
