The activities of the First Scientific Conference on Civil Engineering Applications commenced this morning, Monday, July 8, 2024, at the Faculty of Pharmacy Auditorium, in the presence of the Vice President of Scientific Affairs and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with deans of other faculties, department heads, university faculty members, and interested parties from different universities. Talal Al-Tashani presented the conference opening ceremony.
Following that, the Vice President for Operational Affairs delivered a welcoming address, expressing gratitude to the guests and participants. He also thanked Dr. Abdalmatlub. A. Bofrowa, President of Omar Al-Mukhtar University, for his oversight, committee work, and full support for the conference. He highlighted that the convening of this conference marks a significant milestone, and that they look forward to beneficial recommendations in the civil engineering field.
Next, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering praised the efforts of Omar Al-Mukhtar University and the Faculty of Engineering in organizing the conference, expressing gratitude to the university, organizing committees, and supervisors.
The Chairman of the conference’s Scientific Committee highlighted the university’s important role in scientific research. Additionally, The Chairman of the Conference Preparatory Committee expressed profound appreciation to the committees and all who contributed to the conference’s success.
The opening ceremony included a video presentation showcasing the activities of the Faculty of Engineering. Following the opening ceremonies, the scientific sessions of the First Scientific Conference on Civil Engineering Applications resumed at Omar Al-Mukhtar University.
