The Faculty of Agriculture organized a meeting on Monday, November 18, 2024, with the new students enrolled for the 2024/2025 academic year. The Faculty Dean delivered a welcoming speech in which he wished the students a successful academic year filled with dedication and perseverance. His speech included a historical overview of the Faculty’s establishment, its role in serving the community and the surrounding environment, and an introduction to the regulations and laws governing the educational process at both the university and the Faculty.
During the meeting, several lectures were presented by the faculty members, focusing on the study system, the regulations governing the educational process, and the role of academic supervision in assisting students to overcome challenges they may face in their academic journey and in understanding university procedures. The meeting also included an introduction to biosafety, environmental safety, and professional practices that should be followed in the Faculty laboratories to ensure a safe environment for students when conducting practical experiments and applied research throughout their studies.
