The Faculty of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences organizes an orientation day for first-year students

On Thursday, November 28, 2024, the Faculty of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences organized a special orientation day for first-year students, aimed at introducing them to the faculty, its academic departments, and its study system.

The event was attended by the Acting Dean of the Faculty and the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, the heads of the academic departments and their representatives, the Faculty Registrar, the Head of the Social Services Unit, as well as the Director of the Graduate Studies Office, the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Office, and the Head of the Occupational Safety Unit at the Faculty.

The event featured presentations by the academic departments, which introduced the mission and goals of each department, as well as highlighting the job market opportunities for the Faculty’s graduates. Additionally, the orientation day included a presentation of the regulations and study system to provide the new students with a clear picture from the outset.

Fourth-year students and graduates of the Faculty also participated in the event, sharing their experiences and insights with the new students, adding extra value to the event.
