The Role of Practical Teaching in Enhancing Positive Skills among Students of the Faculty of Arts at Omar Al-Mukhtar University

This study seeks to find out the importance of practical education in enhancing positive skills among students of the Faculty of Arts at Omar Al-Mukhtar University. The study sample consisted of (100) male and female students, distributed according to their majors. The questionnaire was used as a means of collecting data, which consists of (41) items, divided into four dimensions: crisis management, flexibility and spontaneity, effective communication, teamwork. The results showed that the study sample’s estimates on the tool were above average. Also, the results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample responses to the importance of practical education in enhancing positive skills among students of the Faculty of Arts due to the gender variable, and partly due to the age variable. There were also statistically significant differences due to the academic specialization variable on all dimensions of the scale except for the dimension of effective communication. The study recommended a set of recommendations .
