On Sunday morning, November 24, 2024, the College of Health Sciences at Omar Al-Mukhtar University held introductory lectures for new students in the Pharmacy Faculty auditorium. The program for these lectures was presented by the distinguished media figure, Sand Hweidi.
The Faculty Dean delivered a speech in which he addressed several important points, including the role of the university leadership in developing the core objectives of the strategic plan and setting the general policies for higher education and scientific research.
Speeches were also given by the Head of the General Department, the Faculty Registrar, and the Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Office, who explained to the students the importance of attending lectures and maintaining regular study habits to ensure good academic performance, as well as the procedures related to studying and examinations.
The Faculty administration also presented a visual presentation that outlined the responsibilities of the Faculty departments related to academics, and provided an overview of the Faculty’s mission, regulations, and students’ rights and duties.
