The aim of this study was to valuate the academic staff performance teaching at the education faculty in Omar Mukhtar University. a total sample size of 297 students was chosen using a stratified sampling method. During September and November 2016. Data collected were imported into (SPSS) Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (version 19) software. Normality testing was carried out, the collected data were normally distributed which warranted the use of parametric tests. the results of academic staff performance questionnaire (ASPQ) reliability, validity indicated that the (ASPQ) questionnaire may be considered as an appropriate measure of academic staff performance. Frostiness the results showed that weakness in the academic staff performance teaching, Gender and study levels variables were not important factors affecting Libyan students’ scores on the academic staff performance questionnaire (ASPQ).
