Problems of teaching history for the secondary stage from the teachers' point of view

Abstract

The study aims to identify the problems of teaching history to the secondary stage from the point of view of the teachers، to achieve the objective of the study، a tool was constructed – which was  a questionnaire according to Lykert triangular scale. It was made sure، that the study was verified and validated. The study was applied to a sample of history teachers ( 68 teachers) during the academic year (2016-2017) in the education sector in the municipality of the El-Qubba. And the following results have been  concluded:

     The existence of various problems in the teaching of history was the highest problem related to the objectives and formulation، as well as a problem related to the presentation of scientific material in the textbook and the middle of a problem related to the calendar and the lowest problem related to the student and thus the study found that there are many problems in the teaching of history and that the differences in ratios are fundamental problems.
