Abstract

The research aims to investigate the impact of physical and moral incentives in improving the performance of the heads of scientific departments in my university: Tobruk and Omar Mukhtar and to achieve the goal of research; The comparative approach was relied on the maximum approach, and was used as a tool for data collection, and applied to all heads of scientific departments in the colleges of etiquette and sciences with both universities, which distributed (30) a questionnaire and has been fully restored and concluded Highlights: A positive interdependence relationship between the use of the dimensions of material and moral incentives. Improve the performance of the two heads. There are no statistically significant differences between colleges: etiquette and sciences with both universities on the performance scale. There are statistical differences attributed to the variable type for male on the performance scale. There are statistically significant differences attributed to the scientific qualification variable for PhD on the performance scale. The research recommended the following recommendations: maintaining the performance and pursuit of employees. Develop new incentive systems. The need to broadcast the spirit of cooperation among workers; To work as a team seeking to achieve the objectives of the desired organization,There are statistically significant differences due to the gender variable in favor of males on the performance scale.There are statistically significant differences due to the educational qualification variable in favor of the PhD on the performance scale. The study recommended several recommendations, the most important of which are:Maintaining and improving employee performance. Introducing new incentive systems.The need to spread the spirit of cooperation among workers to work as a single team that seeks to achieve the desired goals of the organization.
